Your voice compels me to create It puts me against the greatest monument of perfection just so I could attempt to match it Try, just go-ahead try To compare with the devilish beauty of the songs that flow from your words I have no choice but to sway with your rhythm Even your trips have grace that swell higher than the expectations of man
But hear me when I say I do not love you I could not love you; it is not light on my heart or sweet on my mind It is something much heavier and dark Weighing down on my lungs, holding me to earth Something deep that dare not reveal its name For whenever I even imagine my lips forming the frame of your reference I tear at my soul, rage at my flesh, Rip away the simple human existence that I bare
I would gash away every last morsel of me if it were to compare to you You and the monuments you leave behind you as you play through this world Treading through this existence Waiting to get back to where you must have come To tell of tales of those who carved themselves around you And built memories of your inadvertent glory
Oh dear Tahno what have I done? Has the great Calin fallen victim to-to emotion?! What madness is this?
I am actually sort of proud of this one.
Something that was inspired by King Charles the musical artist's song "Lovelust" I absolutely love this man, he is a true inspiration and has a fabulous artistic eye. I hope this does him justice.
Enjoy
Oh and please do help a writer out. Tell me what you think.
I think it's very expressive and although a personal experience is being reflected there, it's broad/general enough for anyone to be able to relate. Well done!
Well nowadays, a record, broken or not, is quite a find. Definitely a collector's item! In all seriousness, it's all good; just hopefully I'll be able to offer some kind of useful feedback at some point.
I am glad you enjoyed it
